We simulate uncoded BER of BPSK modulated
data as a function of SNR
-in an AWGN channel
-in a Rayleigh fading channel
-in an AWGN channel when direct sequence spreading
is used
and compare results to the theoretical ones.
We assume coherent receiver and perfect
synchronization.

The FPGA can realize a more optimized Digital controller in DC/DC Converters when compare to DSPs. In this paper, based on the FPGA platform, The theoretical analysis, characteristics, simulation and design consideration are given. The methods to implement the digital DC/DC Converters have been rese ...
This paper describes a bus mastering implementation of the PCI Express protocol using a Xilinx FPGA. While the theoretical peak performance of PCI Express is quite high, attaining that performance is a complex endeavor on top of an already complex protocol. The implementation is described and its pe ...
Lithium–sulfur batteries are a promising energy-storage technology due to their relatively low cost and high theoretical energy density. However, one of their major technical problems is the shuttling of soluble polysulfides between electrodes, resulting in rapid capacity fading. Here, we present ...
Firstly, this book is set at a level suitable for senior undergraduate and
postgraduate students who wish to understand the fundamentals and applications
of adaptive array antenna systems. Array fundamentals are described in the text,
and examples which demonstrate theoretical concepts are included ...
During the past decade, many wireless communication techniques have been
developedto achievevariousgoals suchas higherdata rate, morerobustlink quality,
and higher number of users in a given bandwidth. For wireless communication
systems, depending on the availability of a feedback link, two approache ...
Fundamentals of WiMAX was consciously written to appeal to a broad audience, and to be of
value to anyone who is interested in the IEEE 802.16e standards or wireless broadband networks
more generally. The book contains cutting-edge tutorials on the technical and theoretical under-
pinnings to WiMAX ...
This books attempts to provide an extensive overview on Long-Term Evolution
(LTE) networks. Understanding LTE and its Performance is purposely written to
appeal to a broad audience and to be of value to anyone who is interested in 3GPP
LTE or wireless broadband networks more generally. The aim of th ...
